Long queues again to the Kapshtica border crossing point. The Greek side has closed the counters and suspended work after completing the quota of 300 people per day allowed to cross this border point, although there are about 1 million Albanian migrants who came after the 1990s living in Greece.

Currently, there are a high number of vehicles waiting to cross into Greek territory. Sources for Oculus News specified that talks are being held among Governments so that about 50 citizens who are waiting to cross the border, can cross today on Greek soil.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs clarified that Greece has closed the border for tourism for Albanians until September 15.

In Kapshtica 300 people can cross the border per day, while in Kakavija 700 people. The Ministry clarifies that until September 19, all Albanians going by air or land in Greece will be required to have with them the Covid-19 test, performed in the last 72 hours.
