The serious incident happened at the moment when the ambulance was rapidly transporting a person, who fell ill while waiting in the long lines of the border with Greece, due to the temporary closure of the border by the latter.
Long queues of vehicles have been waiting at this border point for days, waiting to cross into the Greek state. The queues in Kakavija have reached over 22 km lengthwise where families with children and the elderly stay in extreme temperatures.
Meanwhile, a day ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the reason for this delay is the process of obtaining the COVID- tampon from the Greek side.
