Ava Max spoke in the Albanian language in her first interview for the Albanian media
The famous US singer spoke about her Albanian roots and the origin of their parents, father from Qeparo and mother from Saranda.
She said that she had never visited Albania, and this year she had planned to come, but the pandemic did not allow her.
"Thank you. I am very enthusiastic to come to Albania. I will come this year, but with the virus situation, we are not allowed to travel anywhere. But next year for sure. I want to come a lot and I have a lot of families there waiting for us."

"I had a very strong relationship with all my grandparents. My grandmother who lived with me passed away in 2011, she was from Qeparo. I was upset when she passed away. When my parents came to America they did not know the language, they had no money and they really tried to provide us with a livelihood. So I really spent a lot of time with my grandmother," Ava said in "Ditë e re" show.
She also spoke about the long-awaited collaboration with the famous Albanians Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, and Rita Ora and said that a joint song of the type "Lady Marmalade" should definitely be made. Ava said that she has not talked to Dua yet, but she can hardly wait to meet her.
