Albania and Kosovo from two COVID-19 victims, 1 in North Macedonia

 In Albania in the last 24 hours 811 tests have been performed and 108 COVID-19 infected with have been confirmed in the following regions:

40 in Tirana, 9 in Shkodra and Durres; 8 in Elbasan, 6 cases in Mat, 4 cases in Kruja, Fier and Kavaja; 3 affected in Korca, Vlora, Shijak and Saranda; 2 cases in Librazhd and Kuçovë, from 1 case in Lezhë, Has, Rrogozhinë, Tropojë, Berat, Mallakastër, Peqin, Kolonjë.

88 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing to 7397 the number of people who have beaten COVID-19.

Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and "Shefqet Ndroqi" 179 patients are being treated, 18 in intensive therapy of which 5 patients are intubated.

In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of doctors, they, unfortunately, 2 citizens lost the battle with COVID19, a 62-year-old from Kurbin and a 68-year-old from Librazhd, with concomitant diseases.  

Meanwhile, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), reported on Saturday for two victims and 46 new cases.

Through a press conference, the head of NIPHK, Naser Ramadani announced that the new data come out after testing 560 samples. He said Institute data show there is a 44 percent reduction in the total number of coronavirus cases.

With the latest figures, the total number of victims has reached 619.

The Government of Kosovo, on Friday, September 25, eased a series of measures against the coronavirus.

The Minister of Health in the Government of Kosovo, Armend Zemaj said that the relief of measures has occurred due to the reduction of the number of persons affected by COVID-19.

But, according to him, despite the easing of measures, all persons and businesses that do not comply with the measures against COVID-19, will face fines.

"For all those who violate the rules, there will be no warning, but fines will be imposed directly," said Minister Zemaj.

According to the minister, there may be closure if the measures are not respected. 75 new inspectors will be engaged to monitor the implementation of the measures, Minister Zemaj said 

Since the first cases of coronavirus were reported in Kosovo in March, until September 26, 15,425 positive cases have been reported. Of these, 13,165 patients have been cured, while 1,641 active cases.

Wile in Northern Macedonia in the last 24 hours a patient lost his life.

The North Macedonian Ministry of Health reported that 141 new cases of coronavirus were registered, while 94 people were cured.

Based to the cities, the new cases were registered in Skopje-51, Kumanovo-12, Stip-6, Prilep-6, Tetovo-2, Struga-2, Veles-2, Bitola-5, Ohrid-3, Kavadarci-5, Gostivar -2, Gevgelija-5, Strumica-10, Kriva Palanka-2, Kocani-5, Probishtip-1, Valandovo-3, Vinica-3, Delcevo-2, Sveti Nikolle-8, Kichevo-2, Resen-2, Negotino -2.
