There are over 320 thousand people or 26% of the total employees who declare in taxes with the minimum wage.
Meanwhile, the country that pays the least employees in the region is Kosovo. The gross minimum wage in this country varies from 130 euros for employees under 35 and 170 euros for those over 35. Meanwhile, according to Eurostat data, in North Macedonia, the gross minimum wage is 282 euros and in Montenegro 331 euros. The highest minimum wage in the region is that of Serbia, 343 euros.
