Wanted since 2015 in Italy by Police, he changed his last name so as not to be found, taking advantage of an opportunity provided by institutions in Albania, where you can get the last name of the mother.

44-year-old Bashkim Cenkollari, formerly known with the surname Dervishi, was sentenced to two years in prison for drugs in 2011 and then involved in another drug trafficking investigation, along with four other people, according to the investigation coordinated by the Italian prosecutor Valentina Salvi.

However, his trick did not work: recently the police discovered him in Bari and so he was notified of the preventive measure of detention to stay in Reggio.

The man, defended by attorney Federico De Belvis, was questioned on bail.

For the other suspects in this investigation, the investigating judge Antonella Pini Bentivoglio had ordered more severe preventive measures, then all were released on bail.
