Gynecologist from Gostivar, Hatije Ismaili is today decorated by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, with the award "Best Doctor in all of Slovenia". Thanks to the high number of points, she was declared the winner of the "Best Doctor of Slovenia" award. This award represents an act of pride not only for Gostivar, its birthplace, but for all Albanians.
Hatije Ismaili, was born in Gostivar where he finished primary school, in Sh.F. Ismail Qemali (Mosha Pijade - at that time) and the first two years of high school. Afterward, he transferred to the medical high school in Mitrovica where he completed his third year, while he completed his fourth at the medical high school in Prishtina. He then continued his studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka, Croatia. She completed her specialization in gynecology in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Currently works and operates in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. She is a licensed doctor of medicine, specialized in gynecology, with a great and professional experience in the field of urogynecology.
In the Slovenian media she is often seen as a model for the integration of immigrants into Slovenian society which has broken stereotypes about immigrant women: that they mainly stay behind the walls of the house, are not educated, do not work and do not come to parent meetings and classes school speeches.
