Arbri Madhaj showing the game he invented in the jail |
Arbri Madhaj, now 40, arrived in Renne of France when he was a 16-year-old teenager, and later ended up in prison after being arrested for drug trafficking. He was released from prison at the end of March, and during his time in prison, he created the game based on the daily life of the prison and the Criminal Code.
Arbri Madhaj:
The purpose of this fun and educational game is to prevent crime and educate young people about the reality of prison life, showing different human influences. In this game, each player puts himself in the place of a prisoner. The board consists of 52 squares corresponding to the 52 weeks of the year. Each box represents an activity offered in prison, such as sports, social activities, and rehabilitation protocols, to benefit from an additional sentence reduction.
The inscription on the game page reads: “For a long time, I believed that I had everything under control and that nothing could happen to me. At the time, I thought I would control everything. I imagined that easy-to-earn money, luxury cars, holidays and vacations would last forever. But in the end, I was locked up in jail for years and lost a lot of things. My biggest regret is that I did not see my children grow up and I was not present to accompany them to school, or in their spare time. I had no idea what I was doing and how much my life would change. "Before you commit a crime, think carefully, so that you do not end up in prison."
