Grenell said that after a year, citizens can judge the political process, as during this year America will show Serbia and Kosovo how to grow economically and in industry.
Congratulation 🇽🇰&🇷🇸on the signing of the historical agreement. This is a crucial achievement that benefits people of both countries & the future of #WB Region.— Albania in USA (@AlEmbassyUSA) September 4, 2020

"Everyone knows that we have been politically stuck on this topic for decades, and many times just because of symbolic matters. What President Trump did from the beginning, he said 'let's change it, let's put the economy first'. You can not pay the rent and buy food with symbolism, but you can do it when you have a job. What Trump said at the beginning was to give them a taste of the Trump economy, to show them how to grow economically in the industry. Let's see if economic development and job creation take them away from politics. The best part of this deal will be next year, where there will be job creation. After a year, you judge us for the political process," Grenell said.
Meanwhile, the agreement was welcomed by Albanian and Serbian leaders, but interesting is the fact that it was also welcomed by the daughter of President Donald Trump.
Ivanka Trump through a post on Twitter has congratulated the US President and his associates for this historic agreement:
.Congratulations @realDonaldTrump, @RichardGrenell, @RobertcObrien & Jared Kushner on today’s historic breakthrough — normalizing economic ties between Serbia & Kosovo and helping resolve a decades-long conflict in Eastern Europe. https://t.co/xYErKiH4az— Ivanka Trump (@IvankaTrump) September 4, 2020
