Montenegro's New Government: Cooperation with NATO and Kosovo's independence are not discussed

 The pro-Serbian opposition, which won the elections in Montenegro, confirms that the next government will continue cooperating with the NATO alliance, will not question the recognition of Kosovo and will not change the state symbols of Montenegro.

The leaders of three political entities, "For the future of Montenegro", "Peace is our Nation" and "Black on White", Zdravko Krivokapic, Aleksa Becic, and Dritan Abazovic presented on Wednesday the principles on which the government led by them will be based.

Zdravko Krivokapic said: “All this is in the interest of all Montenegrin citizens, regardless of religion, nationality or politics. We want to respect all rights, especially the most important one: freedom."

Among other things, it is stated that all international obligations will be implemented responsibly to strengthen cooperation with NATO and for full membership in the European Union; key government institutions will be completely depoliticized in order to fight uncompromisingly against organized crime and corruption; The Constitution of Montenegro will be respected and initiatives aimed at changing the flag, coat of arms and anthem of the state will not be allowed and no procedure will be initiated to withdraw the recognition of Kosovo's independence.

The leader of the "Black on White" subject, the Albanian, Dritan Abazovic, is sure that the government will have the support of the international community: "We are determined to deal with issues that burden the citizens of Montenegro."

According to preliminary results from the State Election Commission, the three opposition coalitions have won 41 seats.
