Reacting to this publication, the director of the Office for Kosovo of the Government of Serbia, Marko Đurić, has instructed Zakharova that "he will not allow anyone to attack Serbia".
In his reaction to Zakharova's Facebook post, Djuric instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman that she should be "ashamed".
He stressed that Vucic did not say any bad words against Russia, "not even in that country (in the White House).
"Meanwhile, imagine that this president has been waiting to be accepted by the Russian president for even an hour and a half and has never asked for a special chair. I do not allow you to attack the proud Serbia. Shame on you," Djuric wrote on Twitter.
Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs "offended all those who also defend Russia in Serbia."
Reacting to the publication of Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Vulin added that "Vucic, his people and the friends of his people, have never abandoned, offended or humiliated them."
"Zakharova has offended all of us who defend both Russia and Serbia in more sensitive places than in her Facebook posts. The enemies of Serbia and Russia are happy today with Zakharova's small malice. "After Vucic, there are deeds left, after Zakharova, malice for which he will be ashamed", Vulin said in a statement.
He added that "Vucic is the only statesman in Europe who has refused to impose sanctions on Russia, as the supreme commander of the army, with which the forces of the Russian Federation have the greatest and most fruitful cooperation."
Vulini stressed that "the greatness of man is not measured by the size of the chair in which he sits nor by the size of the power on whose behalf he speaks, but by the greatness of the courage to defend the people and the friends of his people in each chair."
