10 COVID-19 deaths in Albania and Kosovo; 755 new cases

 The number of coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours in Albania has slightly decreased.

The daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health informs that on the last day out of 1260 tests performed, 241 people have been infected with Covid-19. 

7 people lost their lives to bring the death toll to 509.

Among other things, the report of the Ministry informs that 319 patients are receiving medical assistance in Covid hospitals, while the active cases are 9177.

While the contrary happened in the National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo, announcing that during the last 24 hours 514 new cases of coronavirus have been registered. This is the highest number of infections within a day recorded in Kosovo.

Three deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus victims to 681.

Due to the increase in cases of coronavirus, the Ministry of Health of Kosovo, earlier in the day announced new measures against coronavirus. Among the new measures are the restriction of the activity of shopping centers and the gastronomy sector from 21:00 pm to 05:00 am. Also, people over 65 will have a movement schedule. They can leave from 06:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

The Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj said that new measures will be reviewed after two weeks, depending on the epidemiological situation.
