Albania and the United States sign for economic cooperation and the Skavica Hydropower Plant

 Albania and the United States sign up for the economy. Finance Minister Anila Denaj signed a memorandum of economic cooperation with US Undersecretary of Economic Development, Energy, and Environment Keith Krach.

In a preliminary communication to the media, Prime Minister Rama described it as a major step in relations between the two countries, which makes Albania a reliable address for American investments. An agreement was also signed to support the Skavica hydropower plant, with American expertise, funding and technology. 

The US Undersecretary praised the role of Prime Minister Rama in the attitude towards Chinese 5G technology. 

But the cooperation for 5G will be signed for a second moment. The Albanian attitude towards this and other Chinese technologies that carry the risk of surveillance was assessed by the American Undersecretary..
