The Ambassador of Albania in the United States of America has tested positive for coronavirus.
Through a post on social networks, Ambassador Floreta Faber said she received a positive test result after returning to Washington from Albania. She also invites all citizens to wear the mask.

"Today I returned from Albania after a business trip and in the afternoon I arrived in Washington. As soon as I landed at the airport, as a prophylactic measure, I did the Covid-19 test. The response was POSITIVE.
I inform you through this message, as these days I have held many working meetings with many officials and colleagues, and I have met endless friends, family and relatives, whom I can not meet one by one.
I was tested negative the day I left for Albania. In any setting or meeting, formal or friendly, I wore a mask and maintained the required distance, but clearly not enough.
