Recently, a big step in his rich career has been made by the handball coach from Gjilan, Fadil Kqiku, who has taken over the management of Bayern Munich, the official website of Bayern reports.
The man from Gjilan, who has been a famous handball player in Kosovo, will lead the first handball team of the German giant Bayern Munich.
Kqiku has signed a three-year contract with the possibility of extension for another two years.
In a statement to Kosovo media, Kqiku, who has also been the coach of the Kosovo National Team, expressed his happiness with this new contract.
"I signed a contract with Bayern for 3 + 2 years in the first team, the men's handball competition."
"So far it has gone very well and the contract is for three years, but if we have success then it is automatically extended for another two years", said Kqiku.
Kqiku has been a handball coach in Germany for 20 years, while he was also part of the Kosovo A National Team, but also in the U-18.
As part of the Kosovo U-18 National Team, in the European Championship held in Austria, for the first time the Dardanians got two victories and did it under the leadership of Kqiku.
"I am proud of the success I have achieved with Kosovo in the European Championship and with the boys I had in the National Team", said Kqiku.
Kqiku aims to elevate Bayern to the highest levels of German handball, as he is known for his great success in the Bayern and Augsburg region with many clubs where he has worked.
The coach from Gjilan during his career as a handball player has played in Kosovo for Bozhur of Gjilan, while in the German handball elite for TSV Milbertshofen.
Kqiku said that he is happy to live and work in a country like Germany where work and success are valued.
