COVID-19 record death toll in North Macedonia, 22 killed in 24 hours

 A record number of coronavirus victims has been recorded in North Macedonia in recent hours. The Ministry of Health confirmed 22 deaths. Also, 561 new cases of coronavirus are reported and 197 cured patients.

"Today, the Institute for Public Health registered 197 cured patients: Skopje 91, Kumanovo 7, Stip 8, Prilep 18, Tetovo 13, Struga 4, Veles 3, Bitola 4, Ohrid 3, Gostivar 3, Gevgelija 4, Strumica 16, Radovishi 2, Kocani 9, Demir Hisar 1, Makedonski Brod 1, Valandova 2, Sveti Nikole 4 and Kicevo 4", it is said in the announcement of the Ministry of Health.

22 people died, 7 patients from Skopje (55, 78, 71, 35, 66, 71 and 64 years), one from Kumanovo (57), two from Dibra (58 and 64), one from Prilep (61) , one from Struga (75), two from Veles (61 and 64 years), two from Bitola (74 and 70), two from Gostivar (79 and 76 years), two from Kriva Palanka (56 and 88 years), one from Kocani (60) and one from Delcheva (81) ", it is said in the announcement of the Ministry of Health.

The total number of those affected in North Macedonia since the beginning of the epidemic is 26,954, of which 18,627 have recovered and 919 have lost their lives. There are currently 7,408 active cases of COVID-19.
