COVID3 hospital in Tirana

 As previously announced, the Ministry of Health in Albania has activated the Covid-3 hospital, which is located in the former Surgery building, inside the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center.

Friday marked a record number of 301 hospitalizations in two Covid hospitals and as a result, all capacities were exhausted.

The status of the Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliut:

As we said, after filling the places in Covid-1 and Covid-2 hospitals, we opened Covid-3 Hospital, in the University Hospital Center "Mother Teresa".

- Covid-3 has all the necessary equipment and standards for the treatment of patients with Covid-19 while being led by a qualified and highly experienced team of doctors, the infectious disease hospital, and our health care facilities.

- Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have not interrupted for any moment the training of the nursing staff that will serve in our Covid hospitals. Patients at Covid-3 will also be served by a team of trained and experienced nurses serving patients during the pandemic period.

- I assure the Albanian citizens that we have not stopped and will not stop working even for a moment and to offer everyone who needs the best possible medical service.
