Four Albanians arrested who sent 1.2 tons of cannabis to Greece

 Four Albanians were arrested in Greece, after being accused of sending a boat with 1.2 tons of cannabis.

On October 8, border police in Githios spotted a speedboat with three crew members moving at high speed in the sea area.

After the attempted stop, the driver increased the speed, while in the evening the vessel was discovered near a beach, in a rocky area. 20 bags with about 1.2 tons of marijuana were seized. The value of the drugs is estimated at 6 million and  750 thousand euros, while on October 11, one of the 3 persons has been arrested, who was hiding in a pharmaceutical warehouse.

On the same day, another Albanian citizen was arrested, who had left Athens to take with him one of the persons. Meanwhile, on October 13, two other Albanian citizens were arrested on a rural road in Lakonia..
