The news is made public by the press office of the Greek Foreign Ministry, which announces that Mr. Nikolaos Dendias will have meetings with Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani and Foreign Minister Meliza Haradinaj.
Although Athens has not yet officially recognized Kosovo, official Athens has intensified contacts with the Kosovo government, and official Athens has even stated that it strongly supports the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue.
Mr. Dendia is expected to express support for Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic path and will support Pristina's request for visa liberalization.
Mr. Dendias will also visit the Greek forces stationed in Kosovo.
Athens has recently launched a diplomatic "offensive" in the countries of the region, especially with the Albanian factor in an open attempt to reduce Turkish influence in the region.
