As never before in the last 24 hours, a record number of coronavirus victims has been recorded in Albania. Today 7 patients have lost their lives to the disease. Such a number had never been registered since the beginning of the pandemic in March this year in our country. The highest number of fatalities was six within 24 hours, while the record was broken today by breaking it on a black Tuesday.
The daily cases are still high, 284 in the last 24 hours out of 1278 tests that have been done across the country. While the number of patients in the hospital has also increased, today there have been 5 more hospitalizations bringing the total number of those receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases and Sanatorium to 285. The number of cured today is 103.
