Serbia will buy combat drones in Turkey. Serbian media report that a delegation of the Serbian state has traveled today to Anakara where will have an agreement for the purchase of some combat drones known as "Bayraktar".
"Our public is very interested in this type of weapon, which should protect the skies over Serbia, but also make our country the strongest military force in this part of Europe," Serbian media reported.
"Bajraktar" drones are a product of the Turkish corporation Kale-Bayraktar, the aircraft is produced and sold in two versions as a combat and for discovery purposes aircraft with or without weapons.
The drone is 6.5 meters long, the wingspan is 12 meters, the maximum speed is about 220 kilometers per hour and it flies in a radius of about 300 kilometers.
Turkish drones have been used in the conflicts in Syria, especially during operations against Syrian Kurds in northern Syria, but also against Kurdish forces in Iraq.
