Rada Trajkovic, the former Serbian MP, through a post on Twitter, has made it known that everyone should be proud of the success of Dua Lipa, whether Albanian or Serbian. And of course, this statement has definitely surprised all Serbians and Albanians in today's context.
We must emphasize here that the Kosovo-Serbia rivalry goes to the level of artists and often with many doses of fanaticism, this is why this statement of the former Serbian MP is a surprise.
"Everyone from Kosovo, Serb or Albanian, should be proud of the international success of this girl. Impressive! "The appreciation of culture, whether that of a magnificent church or a talented pop star, should unite us, not divide us", the former MP wrote.
Anyone from Kosovo - Serb or Albanian - should be proud of this young woman’s global success. Impressive!

Appreciation of culture - be it of a magnificent church or a talented pop star - should unite, not divide us. https://t.co/By1QsydSbK
This reaction of hers comes after Dua broke the record by being considered as one of the artists who has sold the most recordings of all time. Since her first debut in 2015, the Albanian artist has sold 153 recordings worldwide.
