 Kosovo Police has announced that a serious robbery took place in the Catholic Church in Gjakova.

The priest of this church reported to the Police that he found the door open by force where the robbers stole valuables, including money.

"The complainant (priest of the Catholic Church) states that when he went to the church for the Mass he noticed that the entrance door was forcibly opened and the box where people leave the money for charity was open and after checking he noticed that there was no tabernacle (the lodge where the sacrament is kept).

The value of the damage is unknown. "Patrols and police investigators have arrived at the scene", it is said in the report of the Kosovo Police.
