In Albania, according to the National Medical Emergency Center, 626 accidents and 23 victims were registered last month.
The data show 10 more accidents than in the same period last year and an increase in the number of those at high risk for life.
The National Center for Medical Emergency marks in red, 164 of them.
Half of the road accidents in September occurred in only two cities, Tirana and Vlora, respectively 236 and 78.
Followed by Durrës with 51, Elbasan with 50, and Berat with 46.
The lowest number of accidents last month was recorded in Dibër and Kukës, respectively 8 and 6.
According to the National Center for Medical Emergency, the main causes of accidents seem to be speeding and violation of road signs, as the appeal for compliance is ranked first in the list of 13 tips for drivers.
