Spanish national police discovered 17 small plots in which more than 7,800 marijuana plants were scattered. According to the Spanish authorities, four plantations were found in the mountains of the town of Huesca in Agüero, where two groups of Albanian traffickers were handcuffed.
As a result of the actions in Agüero, the agents seized about 18.5 tons of marijuana and arrested 13 Albanians. All the plantations were hidden in wooded areas while the traffickers had cut down the pines to create favorable conditions for the cannabis plots, according to Spanish media.
For irrigation, they had created artificial dinghies to store water, which was distributed in the cannabis fields by pumps that were supplied with energy through generators.
