A 53-year-old man jumped from the 4th floor of the COVID2 hospital in Tirana dying on the spot

 A serious incident occurred this morning in Tirana, where a 52-year-old patient jumped from the height of the hospital 'Shefqet Ndroqi', whereas a result he died on the spot.

The police inform that the serious event was recorded at around 03:10 pm, where P.Gj., 52 years old, jumped from the fourth floor. The investigation team and the police services continue to work to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy.

This is the third case registered within a few months in Shefqet Ndroqi Hospital in Tirana, known also as the COVID2 hospital. 

We remind that a 65-year-old and 29-year-old in August-September died after being jumped from the windows of this hospital.

Their serious health condition because of the COVID-19 but also their psychological condition has made these people undertake these extreme acts.

We remind that at this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, psychologists and psychoanalysts advise being careful in terms of the mental health of the population so that anti-Covid measures are taken taking into account the collateral effects related to mental health.
