Greek police have cracked down on a drug-trafficking gang in Athens, arresting eight people, including Albanians, Nigerians and Ghanaians.

The Albanians in cooperation with Africans distributed doses of cocaine, heroin and cannabis in several neighborhoods of Athens.

According to Greek media, the drugs were hidden in trees, car tents, trash cans, flower vases and in various parts of the streets, such as under parked vehicles or wells, where consumers then went and picked them up. Among those arrested is a shop owner, who controlled police movements by informing the group.

Police found and seized 12,095 euros, 264 grams of cannabis, 4 grams of heroin, 15 mobile phones. Almost all of the accused have precedents, as they have been arrested in the past for drug trafficking.
