The activity "Days of Albanian Culture" started in Croatia today. Traditional national costumes were presented and the book "In Search of Medieval Arbërore History" by Prof. Hasmdi Jahja Dranҫollit have been presented in the ceremony.
This book is based on research in the archives and libraries of Italy, Croatia, Turkey, and Austria.
According to the author, special emphasis in this book is placed on the Illyrian-Arberian-Albanian continuity, while the central theme of this book is the formation of the medieval Arberian identity by underlining regional differences; creation and dissemination of Arbër ethnic identity; the formation of the political power of the Arbërs; social development; culture as a driver of social relations, as well as the organization of religious life.
