The Albanian List will not be part of the new Government of Montenegro, headed by Prof. Dr. Zdravko Krivokapic, expected to be formed soon.

The decision was taken at the meeting of the presidency of the Albanian List and was announced by the holder of the Albanian List, Nik Gjeloshaj.

Earlier, the Albanian List warned that they could be part of the new government. In the first meeting with the mandator for the formation of the government, the Albanian List stated that their requests had been accepted and that they had been offered several important positions, including the post of Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights.

Then, after another meeting that the representatives of this list had with the mandator Krivokapic, it was announced that part of the requests of the Albanian List were not accepted.

But it seems that the presentation of the new composition of the government and the names of the ministers has served as a turning point in the position and the final decision of the Albanian List on the participation in the new government.

Justifying the decision of the Albanian List, its holder Nik Gjeloshaj stated for the Television of Montenegro that such a decision was taken due to the composition of the government, but also due to some personal elections.

He called the invitation made to minorities to enter the government as insincere.

"There is not much talk about functions here, for us the concept of government is more important, the program. Unlike the others, after the elections, we said we would sit down and talk. We respect the democratic procedure, the parliamentary democracy. The principle in developed democracies is that minorities are part of the government. And to see if the invitation is sincere or formal", declared Gjeloshaj.

According to him, the principles are more important than entering the government.

He declined to say what is in a dispute over the composition of the new government.

The Albanian Coalition "Bashkë nji za" has not accepted to be part of the new government, which is supported by the parliamentary majority consisting of the coalitions "For the Future of Montenegro", "Peace is our nation" and "Black on white. "

The Albanian coalition "Bashkë nji za" had even rejected the invitation for a meeting of the mandator Zdravko Krivokapic.

Out of 81 seats in the Montenegrin parliament, President Milo's Democratic Socialist Party and its partners won 40 seats in the August 30 elections, while the three opposition coalitions won 41 seats.

The prime minister-designate of the new Montenegrin Government, Zdravko Krivokapic, announced that the government would be formed on December 2, and would consist mainly of experts in various fields. Krivokapic noted that out of 12 ministers, as many as the new government will have, only one will be from politics and he will be the opposition leader Dritan Abazovic, who is a candidate for Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister of the government of Montenegrio.
