An Albanian woman, 30 years old, named Eltiona Skana, has been found guilty of killing 7-year-old Emily Jones in the eyes of her mother.
Emily, was stabbed to death while playing at Queen's Park in Bolton with her parents on March 22. Skana was accompanied by a member of her legal team, while before the trial panel she did not admit the crime.
It is learned that the woman hit the little girl in the neck, causing a fatal injury. Emily was rushed to nearby Royal Salford Hospital but died some hours later. No sentence was handed down in today's trial, but after 1 week another court hearing is expected to take place.
