'The Hague is betraying the people of Kosovo, is replacing the victim with the criminal,' former minister says

Former Kosovo Deputy Minister Begjet Pacolli, through a letter, has asked Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to lead a nationwide effort to refute the theories represented by Dick Marty's report, on the crimes he says were committed by the KLA during the Kosovo war.

"Dick Marty was the result of disinformation and political campaign sponsored by Russia and Serbia to attack the independence of Kosovo and the KLA. This requires a challenge from within the Council of Europe (where Albania is a member) where Dick Marty's report came from. We need diplomatic actions led by Albania, which would oppose Dick Marty's fabricated report to the Council of Europe but would also address the demands for the investigation of war crimes that Serbia has committed in Kosovo," Pacolli's letter reads.

Pacolli adds that "We have created institutions that should deal with justice, but justice in The Hague is betraying the people of Kosovo, is trying to grant amnesty for Serbian war crimes in Kosovo and is replacing the position of the victim with that of the aggressor."
