Kosovo Police has announced that on Friday three foreign citizens were arrested, wanted by INTERPOL.
The notice states that the arrested these citizens come from the Middle East, and are wanted by another country".
It is about a murder that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"The arrest of these three persons was made only based on their appearance, as they do not possess personal documents. The police will treat this case together with local and international institutions and further steps will be taken based on legal procedures", it is said in the policy announcement.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced on Friday that a person suspected of one murder and two attempted murders was arrested in Pristina in Ilixha, on the outskirts of Sarajevo, on November 17th.
"That person was deprived of liberty by the Pristina police, in a house destroyed in Emshir and in cooperation with the competent institutions, further measures and actions are being taken for his extradition," reads a statement from the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The day before, on November 26, in Belgrade, Serbia, another suspect was arrested for the murder in Ilixha. The detainee is a 31-year-old Moroccan citizen who was hiding in a hotel.
The announcement of the Ministry of Interior of the Canton of Sarajevo states that the arrests in Pristina and Belgrade were the result of direct cooperation between the police of the Canton of Sarajevo, the police of Serbia, and the police of Kosovo.
On November 17, in the late evening hours, in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Ilixha, during a clash between several people, one person was killed and two people were injured.
Sarajevo Canton Police announced that three people are suspected of the criminal offenses of "murder" and "serious bodily injury".
