Undocumented fishing boats blocked in Narta Lagoon

 After the publication of some videos which clearly show the violation of the moratorium that prohibits hunting in protected areas, the Task Force from Tirana and the Fisheries Inspectorate in cooperation with the Vlora police launched the action against fishing boats without documentation fishing in Narta Lagoon.

Currently, four boats are blocked while another is in the process of verification.

The action launched in the Lagoon continues from the first hours of this morning.

It should be noted that the problem of illegal fishing has been ongoing on the Albanian coast, and even some experts say that some indigenous species have disappeared from illegal fishing, mainly with dynamite.
