25 Albanian citizens are repatriated from France after being denied asylum

 Today, in Rinas Airport, 25 Albanian citizens who had sought asylum or violated the rules of residence in the Schengen area have been repatriated from Lille, France.

The repatriation operation was carried out under an agreement with the relevant EU authorities.

The state police informs that such operations will continue in the coming months, to return to their country all Albanian citizens seeking asylum or not respecting the rules of movement in European Union countries.

"The State Police appeals to all Albanian citizens traveling to EU countries, to respect the rules of movement in the Schengen area and not to seek asylum, as they have no opportunity to obtain it," said the police.
