31-year-old Albanian caught with 14 kg of cocaine in Athens

 A quantity of 14 kg of cocaine and a large amount of cash has been seized during an operation in Likovris, Athens, where an Albanian was arrested.

It is learned that a truck that had crossed the Ancona-Patra line and landed in the port of Patras on December 12 and then took the direction to Athens, and then has been stopped by the Police.

The truck is owned by a Bulgarian company, while the arrested person is a 31-year-old Albanian. Inside the vehicle were found and seized 13 packages with a total of 14.45 kg of cocaine, 7 grams of marijuana, and about 287,000 euros.

While the Greek police is currently investigating whether the Albanian is part of a wider structured criminal group or simply paid to transport the seized drugs.
