A 28-year-old ALbanian sentenced to 4 years in prison for fraud is extradited from Italy

 Lirim Islamaj, 28 years old, sentenced to 4 years in prison for fraud, has been arrested in Italy and is now expected to be extradited to Albania.

According to the police, he was declared an internationally wanted person, after the Court of First Instance of Durrës in 2018 sentenced him to 4 years in prison for the criminal offense of Fraud.

In November 2015, Islamaj took the vehicle from another person with the initials A. T., resident in Fier, to fix it in a vehicle service in Durrës and did not give back the vehicle to its rightful owner, according to State Police.
