"During Kosovo's chairmanship of the Western Balkans Fund, a very important step has been taken regarding the future of the Western Balkans Fund. This step has to do with the approval of the Joint Declaration by all foreign ministers of the region through which the trend of increasing the annual contribution has been continued as a confirmation of the excellent work done so far in fulfilling the mission. of the Western Balkans Fund. On the other hand, given that regional cooperation, which without question has very tangible results, the main impetus is European integration, it is necessary that the perspective of membership be translated into concrete messages and actions by the EU." said Haradinaj-Stublla.

Ms. Haradinaj-Stublla added that regional cooperation can not become an end in itself, adding that this new window can not replace the process of integration of the Western Balkans into the EU.
