Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani in a three-day visit in Albania

 The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has started the 3-day official visit to Albania, where she was received by the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, and then will have meetings with other Albanian leaders.

She handed to President Meta a symbolic gift from Kosovar women who have been victims of sexual violence in War.

Osmani started his visit to Albania with a homage to the Memorial of Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg, in Lezha. The incumbent president said that the start of the homage visit to the tomb of the national hero is in the function of remembering the strategist who did a lot with the medieval integration project, becoming a fortress of western civilization.

"He did what we need most today. In addition to being the guardian of the values ​​of Western civilization, he was also a model of unification. He once defended the values ​​of civilization, which Kosovo and Albania aim at together," said the incumbent president, Osmani.

The agenda of the meetings of the incumbent President of Kosovo will continue tomorrow with the Speaker of Parliament Ruçi, then homage in the Martyrs' Cemetery and at 12:30, the President of Kosovo will deliver a speech in the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, and then in the afternoon will meet with Prime Minister Rama.

On Friday, Osmani will meet with Democratic leader Lulzim Basha, Mayor Veliaj and former Prime Minister Berisha.
