Protests against the murder of Klodian Rasha have been going on for four days, while tensions and clashes between citizens and State Police forces are continuing. Klodian Rasha's family with a public letter demands that the violence be stopped, as it adds that the scenes that are seen further deepen the wound for the loss of their son, according to Euronews Albania.

"We saw with great regret yesterday the policeman injured in the eye and we felt pain for his parents. We wish that what happened to us, to not happen even to the enemy either! But what we are seeing happening after the loss of our son, does not comfort us but is deepening our tremendous wound. Our son was killed by a police officer and we want justice to the end for his life loss. "But the riots in the name of the son and the injury of the sons of the mothers who serve the state in the police, do not bring justice but only other injustices", it is said in the letter.

Klodian's family further says that they are close to the family of the policeman injured in the eye, during the clashes with the protesters. They urge young people not to get used by politics.

"We are close to the family of the policeman who is in danger of losing his eyes and we ask all the boys 'kidnapped' by the rages of politics not to be manipulated by politics. We want the horrible death of our son to be a lesson so that the same tragedy never happens to anyone, but the right must go to Court and we expect the state to guarantee justice, not political violence", it is said in the letter.

In the end, the family of the 25-year-old killed has a direct appeal to all political forces, to which want to stop throwing gasoline on the fire.

"Politicians should remind themselves that these people are tired of their games and not throw gasoline on the fire for their own interest. We want to thank all those who have participated in our great pain and reward them only in joy!"
