Rakickë, the Albanian village that is being depopulated at a frightening pace
The village of Rakickë
Lack of investment and perspective for a better life in Albania has been depopulating the country's villages for years.

One of them is the village of Rakickë in the municipality of Devoll. Once a village with a significant number of inhabitants, today in Rakicka lives very few families, who try to survive on agriculture, livestock, and economic assistance, as A2CNN reports.

Despite the unfavorable conditions, there are also those residents who do not leave this village. One of them is Mirdash Hysolli, 73 years old, who shows that young people have more demands and therefore leave. This has caused for this village to no longer even have weddings.

At this rate, and unless is not invested, is not far the day off when this village will look like a ruin with abandoned houses.
