Tragic accident in Fier, couple lost their lives while going to their daughter

 A tragic accident occurred this morning in Fier, where a "Toyota" type car fell into the water canal and as a result two people died.

The accident happened around at 07:20 am today in the place called "Kthesa e Qarrit". According to local media, the cause of the accident is suspected to be the carelessness of the driver, as well as the lack of lighting and signage on the road.

The victims are suspected to be the couple Nue and Pashke Preçi, from the village of Shtyllas in the Levan Administrative Unit. The accident happened while they were going to their daughter in Qarr. The car went off the road and ended up in the drainage canal, which is filled with water as a result of heavy rainfall in recent days.

Police services, fire services and medical emergencies are at the scene and are working to get the vehicle out of the water.

While the real causes of today's accident are still unknown.
