Violinist Aurel Qirjo represents Albania in the Orchestra of the Earth

 Albania will be represented in the "Earth Orchestra" this Friday with the Albanian violinist Aurel Qirjo, who will premiere the part "Together is beautiful" of the composer nominated for the "Oscar" award, George Frenton.

The "Earth Orchestra" is a union of prominent musicians from 197 countries. 2 years ago began the concretization of the initiative to find a musician from any country in the world, to join the interpretation of a piece of music.

Qirjo studied violin until high school and completed his higher studies at the Higher Institute of Arts in Tirana.

In the recording of the violin part in "Together is Beautiful", he interpreted the typology of Albanian music of Southern Albania.

Qirjo has published two successful albums on CD of Albanian traditional music: "Shake my handkerchief a little" with the famous ensemble of SAZISO and "Music at the border" with his group of Korça musicians.

During his stay in London, he also collaborated with the Greek band Kourelou and Turkish singer Olcay Bayir.
