The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama after the 2-day visit to Turkey, is expected to leave for another important visit.

He will visit Athens on Friday, where he will meet with his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.

Greek media report that Mitsotakis will host a dinner for the Albanian Prime Minister while with Dedias, Rama is expected to have a private meeting.

While Rama's visit to Istanbul can be considered a success after four important agreements were signed, in Athens the situation is expected to be different.

The visit to Greece comes at a time when Parliament is expected to approve the president's decree on the 12-mile extension to the Ionian Sea, while the issue of the maritime border agreement has previously been decided to be resolved in The Hague tribunal.

Greece and Turkey are two strategic partners of Albania. For many years after the fall of the monist system, Greece has been the main foreign investor in our country, and this position now seems to be held by Turkey because of the past crisis.
