Floods in Albania, tens of hectares of agricultural land in Sukth under water

 Heavy rains that have fallen in recent days in Albania have caused numerous floods, mainly in coastal areas such as Lezha, Durrës or Vlora.

Thus, tens of hectares of agricultural land in the area of Rrushkulli and Perlat in the Administrative Unit of Sukth in the Municipality of Durrës, have been underwater for more than two days.

A day ago, the tributaries of the Erzen River increased the water level to the maximum quotas[


In the Municipality of Durrës, 380 hectares of flooded area have been identified, of which 40 hectares in Rrashbull, 20 hectares in Katundi i Ri, 220 hectares in Sukth, and 100 ha in Ishëm.


Meanwhile, the level of the Buna and Drin rivers has increased by 10 centimeters.
