As the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, announced earlier, in a public communication today at 12:00, he announced that Albania has provided the first 500 thousand doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
Rama said that he has agreed with the American company Pfizer and that at the beginning of the third week of January the first 10,750 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will arrive.
"We have agreed with a normative act for the authorization of the contract according to the agreement officially confirmed by Pfizer. The quantity authorized immediately. The first 10750 doses will arrive in Albania at the beginning of the third week of January. Over 30 thousand more doses in February and then in the comming months.
