Songs with pans by Albanian women, a national treasury

 Being indigenous people for thousands of years, Albanians have inherited their original traditions from the past including songs and dances. We can mention here the Albanian iso-polyphony as a traditional part of Albanian folk music, and, as such, is included in UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list.

But Albania has the songs with pans, which constitute a cultural treasure of Albanians, and wich in fact is little known to the public.

The ritual of songs with pans had an important place especially for certain ceremonies, such as weddings and celebrations.
