Strasbourg Court orders Albania not to deport the Turk citizen Selami Simsek to Turkey. Strasbourg was set in motion by lawyer Elton Hyseni.
The security measure of the lawsuit was communicated to the parties today. Strasbourg orders the Albanian authorities not to deport Simsek until the court proceedings are completed.
Simsek claims he is being persecuted by the Turkish state because his family members have been convicted as supporters of cleric Fethullah Gulen.
