Prime Minister Edi Rama received the Pfizer vaccine, on the first day of the start of the vaccination process in Albania. The first person in Albania to be vaccinated was Najada Çomo.

Prime Minister Edi Rama told the media that he would be vaccinated today, "just to give the clear message that the vaccine is not just safe, but is the weapon of the annihilation of this invisible enemy."

"Chips and gene manipulations are ridiculous. My colleagues did it too, I will do it too. Cabinet members are like everyone else and do not have to line up in front of doctors, police officers, teachers and the elderly. I wouldn’t have to either, but since we have a conspiracy group in place, I will. I will not take the place of anyone, but I will definitely do it today only for this reason", Rama said.
