The Ministry of Health and Social Protection
appeals to citizens not to lower their vigilance and continue to apply antiCOVID rules by wearing on protective masks in any environment outside the home; avoiding gatherings and maintaining physical distancing; taking care of personal hygiene in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We introduce you to the situation of COVID19 in the last 24 hours as follows:
4539 tests were performed and 1130 citizens tested positive.
In the last 24 hours, 656 citizens have been recovered, bringing the number of recovered to 50,875 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently, in 4 COVID hospitals, 431 patients are being treated, 25 in intensive care of which 12 patients are intubated.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 13 citizens have lost the battle with COVID19 in the COVID hospitals. 6 citizens from Tirana, 1 citizen from Korça, 1 citizen from Lezha, 1 citizen from Mirdita, 1 citizen from Klosi, 1 citizen from Mati, 1 citizen from Delvina and 1 citizen from Kruja, they aged 28-80. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased.
