Albanian artist intends to break the Guinness record with the flag of Kosovo made in origami technique

On the eve of the celebrations for the Independence of Kosovo, Arbnora Fejza-Idrizi from Skenderaj, is trying to break the third record in the Guinness Book of Records, this time with a very special work.

With the origami technique, she has realized the flag of Kosovo, over 1,200 square meters. Arbnora Fejza-Idrizi spoke about the manner of the realization of this work.

She said it took her four months to prepare the papers with which this work was carried out.

"For four months, Me and the student Edona, we worked four hours a day to make almost 127,400 pieces of paper and we made the flag of 1200 square meters," she said.

Fejza-Idrizi said that all this is being done in honor of the 13th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence.

"Looking at the record lists of what records are being made in the world, I saw that a school in Mongolia was holding the record for a giant flag, and I thought of giving it as a gift to my country in honor of Independence Day. To present Kosovo to the world with the giant flag.

"I wanted to show the world that even though we are a small country, we can accomplish great deeds," Fejza-Idrizi told to local media.

"It was difficult because the ranking had to be observed from time to time and if the ranks are exceeded then we had the opportunity to have other difficulties because then the work deviates", said Fejza-Idrizi.

The pieces of paper that have been placed to make this giant flag, Arbnora Fejza-Idrizi says that have placed them without using glue.
